Our Pastor

Pastor Troy Hanson

Pastor Troy Hanson has a deep love for God’s unfolding story of redemption—from creation, through the fall, to Christ’s life, death, and resurrection, and the continuing work of the Church throughout history.

He began his academic journey studying creation itself, earning a B.S. in Chemistry and Biology from Valley City State University. He later turned his focus to the Creator, completing a Master of Divinity at Free Lutheran Seminary in Plymouth, Minnesota.

Pastor Troy is married to his wife, Nikki, and together they have two children. As a family, they enjoy backpacking in America’s national forests, reading, Bible study, and lingering over good conversation—usually with coffee (and sometimes tea).
